Discover the day-to-day operation of a Motorway

As part of the National Motorway Operators open days initiated by the ASFA (French Motorway Companies Association), Alis invites you to discover the behind the scenes of the day-to-day operation of the motorway and to meet the teams that, day in day out, participate in maintaining the safety and comfort of your motorway journeys. On this occasion, an "Open Day" is being organised on Saturday 26th June next at the Courbépine Gendarmerie, located at the Bernay Interchange (access either by the motorway or by the RD 834).

From 10 am to 6:30 pm, you will be able to see and assist in various activities: video presentation of the Motorway Operations Control Centre, demonstration of the Gendarmerie Nationale traffic monitoring equipment (laser binoculars, radars), visit of "sobering up" unit, driving simulator and tests with "alcohol glasses", presentation of motorway intervention and maintenance vehicles and equipment, visit of a motorway surface water spill-off basin, etc. At 2 pm and 5:30 pm, there will be a simulation of an accident with the extrication of passengers by the emergency services, assisted by the various motorway intervention teams.

In addition, conscious of the responsibility in terms of Sustainable Development, Alis has scheduled initiations in "eco-driving" and will carry out free, CO2 emission testing of visitors' vehicles.

Future drivers are not forgotten as there will be a Bouncy Castle and a quiz for the younger visitors.
