The summer holidays are just around the corner, and with them, the journeys, often long, to get to your holiday destination. Irritated kids, weary adults and a tired driver... it's time to take a break, especially so as today, the major cause of fatal accidents on the motorway is due to falling asleep at the wheel.
On the following Saturdays, 9th and 30th July, 6th and 13th August, from 9 am to 7 pm, the concession holder Alis is making available, on the Domaine d'Harcourt rest area (exit n°13 direction "Brionne"), loungers and parasols to motorists using the A28 Motorway Rouen-Alençon, so that they can take full advantage of comfortable and revitalising halt.
To make the halt even more attractive and enjoyable, local producers will be on hand so that you can discover regional specialities and craftsmen will also be present to display their work. Children, of course, have not been forgotten. They'll be able to visit the "mini farm" and see its animals and there will also be a bouncy castle among other attractions, all provided free of charge.
In organising each year events that take place on this rest area, Alis participates in the wellbeing and the safety of all motorway users: making frequent halts is a basic rule of road safety that has to be obeyed, whatever the situation. At the first signs of fatigue, drivers must make a halt of at least 10 minutes and as a general rule, stops must be made at least every 2 hours.
