During the first weekend of May 2013 the ancient walls of the Saint-Philbert-sur-Risle priory will be transported into the modern age! This exceptional, historic site, established in the 12th century between Pont-Audemer and Brionne by the lords of Monfort-sur-Risle, will host the first "Rock’n’Risle".

This event, organised by three local associations (Montfort Culture & Patrimoine, MJC Val de Risle and ARDEA La Machine à Sourds/La nouvelle Machine), is bringing together a number of performers, both from home and abroad, in order to participate in two shows that the Normandy public will certainly remember for a long time.

From Friday 3rd May onwards, five concerts have been programmed as part of a free evening's entertainment for the under 18's. During the same day visitors may also discover an original exhibition tracing the eventful stages of the history of rock’n’roll. During the main evening event on Saturday 4 May, nine groups will be performing alternately on two stages, keeping the audience moving from between 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dub, reggae, techno, trance, folk… and of course rock : music for all tastes. Lovers of exciting music will be thrilled!

As a partner of Rock’n’Risle, Alis wishes to support this project which is heralded to be one of the most attractive musical events, confirming its engagement to cultural and touristic activities in Normandy
