French Motorcycle Grand Prix 2013: Motorcyclist's Rest Stop on the ALIS network

The French Motorcycle Grand Prix will take place at Le Mans on 17th, 18th and 19th May. On the occasion of this celebrated event, Alis, through its commitment to motorcyclist's road safety, will once again, in partnership with the various State bodies, provide a rest stop for their return journey.

The rest stop shall be provided for their use on Sunday 19th May from 3 pm until 9 pm on the Domaine d’Harcourt rest and service area, located at junction n°13 (Brionne exit) on the Rouen-Alençon section of the A28 motorway. Motorcyclists will be able to rest, have refreshments provided free of charge by the organisers and relax their tired joints on the massaging chairs provided. They'll also be able to check and re-inflate tyres, clean their wind shields, etc. If required, tools needed for small adjustments and repairs shall be lent to them. For other services, the rest area provides on a permanent basis a fuel pump and a snack bar.

In addition, in order to incite motorcyclists to use the motorway network, recognised as being much safer than main and secondary roads, ALIS will once again provide free of charge access as it has done since 2006. The access to the motorway shall therefore be free for all class 5 vehicles from Friday 17th May from 1:00 pm onwards until Monday 20th May at 4:00 pm.
