Le Mans 24 hours motorcycle race: alis is organising two motorcyclist rest stops on the A28 motorway.

The Le Mans 24 Hours Motorcycle Race, the French stage of the World Endurance Championship, is being held on 21st and 22nd September next on the prestigious Le Mans motor racing circuit. For the occasion, Alis, will once again, in partnership with the various State and Eure and Orne Department bodies, provide 2 Motorcyclists Rest Stops on the A28 Rouen / Alençon Motorway. Initiated in 2011, these rest stops allow each year more than a thousand motorcyclists to rest and relax on their journeys to and from the race.

For the journey to the race, from Friday 20th September, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday 22nd September, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, motorcyclists will be able to make a halt at the Dentelle d'Alençon service area. During the return journey, on Sunday 22nd September, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, they will be able to make stop at the Domaine d'Harcourt rest and service area (Brionne exit n° 13).

During their halt, motorcyclists will be able to rest, help themselves to drinks and pastries provided free of charge by the organisers and relax their tired joints on the massaging chairs provided. They'll also be able to check and re-inflate tyres, clean their visors, etc. If required, tools needed for small adjustments and repairs shall be lent to them. These rest stops will also be accompanied by loudspeaker road safety announcements, inviting motorcyclists to drive safely and responsibly.

In addition, in order to make motorcyclists' journeys safer and more fluid, the motorway will once again be open to motorcyclist free of charge.
