The Le Mans circuit will host the celebrated international sporting event which is the French Motorcycle Grand Prix from 18th to 20th May 2018. On this occasion, ALIS, in partnership with the State Services and the FFMC (Fédération Française des Motards en Colère) is once again setting up a motorcyclist rest stop at the Domaine d’Harcourt rest & service area allowing them to take a break on their return journey from Le Mans.
On Sunday 20th May from 8 am to 8:30 pm, volunteers from the Eure Department FFMC (Fédération Française des Motards en Colère) will be waiting for them on the Domaine d’Harcourt rest & service area, exit n° 13 Brionne, which is also accessible from the secondary network. Hot drinks and pastries will be provided.
On the rest & service area, Motorcyclists, as well as being able to fill their motorcycles up with petrol, will be able to use the tools made available to them to make any adjustment or repairs that may be necessary. They will also be able clean their visors and check and inflate tyres if need be, so that they may continue their journey in the safest of conditions.
In order to make motorcyclists' journeys safer and more fluid, ALIS is once again making the motorway available to them free of charge. There will therefore be free access for class 5 vehicles from Friday 19th May at 10 am to Monday 21st May at 12 pm.
Similarly, there will also be free access to the ALICORNE concession A88 motorway network from Friday 9 am to Monday 1 pm.
