The "Versailles of horse breeding"
Created by Colbert at the beginning of the 18th century, the Le Pin National Horse Breeding Centre is set in seigneurial grounds that extend over more than 1 000 hectares. Le Nôtre designed the three monumental drives that converge at the main courtyard and the château, the work of Mansart. In this natural landscape, this jewel of French horse breeding is now home to about 60 stallions among which are many celebrated champions. Grouped together by breed, racehorses and competition horses, but also Percherons and Normandy cobs - formidable draught horses - can be seen in the stable and in the pastures.
A visit that cannot be missed for all horse lovers.
